Blank stats window in version 26.09.3

Hello,

The modern stats window has suddenly stopped working and appears completely blank in version 26.09.3 on Windows. It is also unable to generate the PDF. This happens across all my decks.

I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps without success:

  1. Updated Anki to the latest version (26.09.3).
  2. Checked the database (no errors found).
  3. Opened Anki in Safe Mode (holding Shift) to disable all add-ons.
  4. Changed the video driver in Preferences and restarted the application.
  5. Resized the window (maximizing and minimizing) and switched between different decks to force a refresh.
  6. Forced the classic stats window (holding Shift while clicking stats) — this is the only way it works, but it displays in English and I want to fix the modern charts in Spanish.

Since it stopped working out of nowhere without a manual update, I suspect it might be a compatibility issue with a recent Windows or graphics card update.

Could you please help me fix the modern stats view? Thank you!

Try the following:

  • Optimize all your presets (assuming you’re using FSRS).
  • Make a test profile, add a note, study the card, and see if the stats work.

Also provide the debug info from the About screen.

I am not using FSRS. I have created a new test profile, added a note, and studied it, but the stats window remains completely blank there as well.

Did you try all of the available options – with a restart after each?

Yes, and that didn’t work either. Without doing anything on my end, after 2 days out of order, the stats are working fine again today, so I have no idea what happened… thanks a lot!
