Blank screen on opening

Hi

When opening Anki I receive a blank screen as per the screen shot below.

Also when I try to study cards via the tools button, the program crashes.

Have you gone through all the steps of the Troubleshooting Checklist – Troubleshooting - Anki Manual? If not, do that before responding.

If you are still having this issue after that –

  • Is this a fresh install of Anki? Or a version upgrade?
  • If you can reach Help > About > Copy debug info – please paste the result here when you respond.
  • If not – is this version 24.06.03? Is it Qt5 or Qt6? Is this Windows 10 or 11, or something else?

Hi

I am currently using version 23.10.1, the reason being that when I update the program crashes when i open it.

I am using Windows 10 Pro

What other versions have you tried? 24.04.x had some crashing issues for some users, but 23.12.x before it, and 24.06.x after it have been fine.

There are still several things in the Troubleshooting Checklist that you should try – but if any of them are inaccessible for you, it would be helpful to know that too.
