Hi. I went to browse my anki decks and the cards are coming up as saying ’ The front of this card is blank’ , but thisi is only affecting cards of the ‘basic type’. I haven’t changed the settings and have recently synchronised my decks. Still showing that my cards are blank. My other card types are unaffected and it’s showing this problem on both my anki app and anki web. Please help!!

Can you show what your Cards are filled with in the Editor, and how they look when editing the template?
So the issue is that the info got removed from the notes themselves. What were the last things you did in Anki that might have changed the notes? If you use add-ons, it might be an effect of one of them.
How many basic notes do you have, and how many were affected? When was the last time you’ve looked at them and they were fine?
If there are a lot of notes emptied by mistake, and you didn’t make many other changes in your collection after they disappear, you can always try restoring from a backup.

I last reviewd some of the cards on wednesday 21st may and they were completely fine. I have about 5500+ cards were basic and they are all showing as empty. I haven’t got any add ons other than the heat map. Thank you! will try restore from a back up
