Back side shows 1st

On some of my decks the back side [showing answers] appears first and then after I press the space bar, the front side [showing questions] appears second. How can I change all my decks [Windows laptop & Android tablet] so that the front side shows first and the back side shows next after I press the space bar?
Thanks in advance.

It sounds like you accidentally flipped your card templates – the directions that Anki uses to make cards from your notes. That’s not too tough to deal with if you know what note types and card types have the problem. Do you? That will help us to be able to send you in the right direction.

If any of that terminology didn’t make sense to you, read this first. Getting Started - Anki Manual

thanks
card type is card 1
note type is Basic (and reversed card)_

do I change note type “Basic (and reversed card)_” to note type “Basic”?

in my other decks I discovered note type are basic+.
I’ll search anki manual to know how basic and basic+ are different, when to either, perhaps I’ll just change all to basic.

Yes, correct.

The + version is from notes you imported from outside. Basically, if you have a note type called X and you’re trying to import notes with a note type (also) called X, Anki renames the latter to X+.

If your Basic+ cards looks the same as Basic cards, you can probably just use one and delete the other.

If the name is just like that – with the underscore – this isn’t the default note type. You might have imported it, so there’s no telling what it makes. Does it make multiple cards (card type 1, 2, etc.)? Or does it make just one card and the wrong {{field replacement}} is on the front template?

You’ll want to be careful using Change Note Type to go from a note type that makes multiple cards to a note type that makes only one card. It matters which card you map to which card, so you don’t lose your review history.

Or you can edit the note type instead – Field Replacements - Anki Manual . Consider giving it a name that more meaningfully says what it is. If you need more specifics, you can tell us about or post screenshots of – what fields your note type has, what your front and back templates currently look like, and where on those templates you want your fields to go.

[Or you can get your collection in sync with AnkiWeb, and I can try looking at your collection directly.]
