Automatically updating add-on

Hello!
If follow documentation, it says that I need to push the add-on updates every time by hand. Why isn’t there other way to push the add-on automatically (e.g. with CI)? Or I just can’t find such option?

Using browser emulator is kind of expensive solution. I would prefer to investigate what HTTP requests the uploader sends or even contribute such API (if the site itself is open source).

Sorry, there is no public API at the moment.

And, as follows from the fact that I can’t find the site sources, I can’t contribute it?
