I downloaded ankimon from a .ankiaddon file
Do you have the latest Windows updates?
i updated windows but it’s still erroring
Now that Anki relies on your system’s certificate store, this seems to happen when there’s a proxy or certificate or antivirus getting in the way of the connection. The same suggestions for issues connecting to AnkiWeb otherwise often work – Error establishing a secure connection when syncing - Anki FAQs .
If not, take a look at these other threads and try any solution you haven’t so far.
I’ve seen this a few times recently, and other threads seem hard to locate, so I’m adding the error message as text for searchability –
