Hello! I am new to anki so I am not familiar with this application. I have tried downloading an anki set from reddit that has 2,900 cards. For a few hours, my anki has been stuck on processing. I cannot close the app, force quit it, or do anything beyond letting it run in the background. I use a MacBook Air 2022 and have 130 GB still available. How can I get these cards to download?
Have you tried restarting your Mac?
Yes. It says “Anki interrupted restart. To continue restarting, quit Anki.” But then I cannot quit anki in order to restart.
It sounds like it’s stuck, and needs to be force-closed. How to force an app to close on your Mac – Apple Support (AU). Afterwards, you could try importing again.
