Synchronisation is proceeding

I want to open Anki. When I do this a sign pops up which tells me “synchronization in progress”
I can’t close this sign and nothing has happened for a day now! I can’t close the app or rehearse my cards.
I don’t know what to do anymore!

It sounds like it’s stuck. You may have to force-close the app.
