My Anki app downloaded from the website onto my Mac is open but I can’t click any buttons or quit out of the application. It’s an older version so I was trying to open it to see how it was then replace it with the new one. I downloaded the new one and it just refused to open, and the old one is still open and refuses to be trashed or quit. I’m quite frustrated as it’s been open for weeks without me being able to close it. I’m not sure what to do. I downloaded Anki app from the Mac store too but I think that’s a different thing?
Various bugs cause Anki to freeze, but since Anki always saves any progress or changes you have made in real time there is no problem just doing a forced quit. On a Mac press option/command/esc together and quit Anki
