Anki stuck in full screen when trying to add cards

When I am adding cards my anki become stuck in full screen and doesn’t allow me to minmize or use any keyboard short cuts. The only option I get is “Press ESC to exit full screen” however rather than taking it out of full screen it closes down the tab and when I re-open it, it is still in full screen.

This is very frustrating as often I am putting information from other tabs into my cards and this is stopping me from doing this. Please help, thanks.

p.s I am using a chromebook

Are you using any add-on?

No, I tried using the toggle full screen add on but it unfortunately didn’t work.

If you are using Anki’s native full-screen feature, it can be toggled with F11.
