Hi! pls help. exam in 3 days. im doing my anki reviews, and im getting the cards wrong, but it is not adding the card to the red review again pile and the card is not showing up again. i looked at other peoples posts but none of those solutions worked for me. i attached my settings.
ive now noticed it adds some of the cards to the red review pile (maybe 1% of cards) but the rest just disappear
When you say they are “not showing up again” or they “disappear” – does you just mean they aren’t immediately counted on the red counter? That only counts the Learn/Relearn cards that are available for study right now, not all the ones that exist in your collection. If you have cards on learning steps that haven’t yet reached the end of their step delay, you won’t see them on the red counter.
The exception to that is if the step delay is shorter than your Learn Ahead Limit. Then the cards will be available immediately, even though they won’t be shown until the end of their delay unless you run out of other cards.
I suspect either some of your cards are on longer steps than you think they are (e.g., if their subdecks are using a different preset than you think) – or you changed your Learn Ahead Limit from the default of 20 minutes.
