ANKI doesnt work with PROXY

Hi, in our school we want to use ANKI but we have proxy and firewall. Our proxy (Mcafee WebGateway) when I do rule tracing shows that ANKI when I click em OK to syncronize look to “URL%20not%20available” and the message apear is:

proxy URL error

I did HTTP_PROXY, HTTPS_PROXY environment and winhttp proxy.

Any ideas? *.ankiweb.net is already allowed.

Perhaps your proxy does not support TLS 1.2? I’m afraid it’s not something we can debug on this end; your network administrator or Mcafee will need to help you.

I will try this option on monday, thx.

@dae yes, my appliance supports TLS 1.2 and i’m the administrator lol. I will try with mitmproxy and share some info on monday.
