Ok basically I’ve just created a new card type, and all of my decks’ cards were casually divided into these 2 card types without me wanting to. But the real problem is that when I tried to switch manually the card type for a specific card, It didn’t work.
I noticed that with other changes like trying to change the card information on the front or on the back this problem didn’t occur. I’ve also tried to restart the pc, install the last version or starting anki without add-ons (even though I don’t use them i tried anyway)

It sounds like you have created a new card template for a certain note type. This generates one new card for every note with this note type (Anki warns you about that beforehand).
However, I don’t understand what you mean by switching card types. If you further explain what you are trying to achieve (maybe read the Basics section of the Anki manual) I could probably help you with that.
