I’ve been happily using Anki on my desktop and would like to access my decks on my android phone when I travel. However, I can’t get it to work. I get the following message when I sign in.

YES! Thank you so much, Abdo. Everything works great now. This was driving me crazy.
The funny thing is that I had downloaded the latest version but it was placed in a different folder so the shortcut on my desktop was pointing to the old version.
