Anki 25.7.1 installer crashes on Linux on Ctrl-C

Linux Anki launcher crashes on Ctrl-C

OS: Fedora 42 x86_64
Anki version: 25.7.1 (and 25.7.2)
Reproducible: Always

Steps to reproduce:

  1. From Anki, select Tools > Upgrade/Downgrade > Yes
  2. Press Ctrl-C

Expected result: Installer closes (as if option 8 was chosen)

Actual result:

Anki Launcher

1) Latest Anki (just press enter)
2) Choose a version
3) Keep existing version (25.7.1)

5) Allow betas: off
6) Cache downloads: on

7) Uninstall
8) Quit
> ^C

Warning: Program '/usr/local/share/anki/launcher.amd64' crashed.

I cannot reproduce this on debian linux (sid, inside a vm) using gnome-terminal or xterm.

If you run it with gdb/lldb and type ‘bt’ to get a backtrace, does it reveal anything?
