Anki 23.10.1 for Apple Silicon Freeze During Review

Problem
When I am doing reviews, sometimes after I hit the space bar to show the answer, the screen does not update, and I still see the front side of the card, but when I move my curser towards the top of the screen near the top bar that has browse, deck, etc, it will update and show the back of the card.

Details
This most often happens for cards where I have a hint enabled on the front of the card, but has also happened to cards that don’t.

I have recently gotten a new mac and transfered everything using apple’s migration assistant.

I have disabled all my add-ons, and the problem still occurs.

I did not have this problem before switching to the new mac, and I do not have this problem on AnkiMobile.

I have gone ahead and removed Anki from my computer and re-added it, but the problem persists.

Could you try another video drive, see Display Issues - Anki Manual

In Anki 23.10+, you can also change the graphics driver from preferences screen.
