All Cards not loading

I have Anki downloaded on my mac laptop, Version ⁨25.02.7 (1b882285)⁩, the current version. However, whenever I try to download a new deck, for example 100 concepts of anatomy, only 2 or less than 10 card will import over.
I read online that it may be a issue with the deck but I have tried to load 3 different decks and have the same outcome.
How can fix this?

  1. Are you seeing an error on import and if so, what is it?
  2. In the Browse window, select the deck concerned in the left pane. How many cards can you see in the middle pane?
  3. Select the deck in the home window.
  4. Click Stats from the top menu.
  5. In the Card Counts section (the one with the pie chart), how many Total cards are reported?

(post deleted by author)

-1. no error message
-2. only 2
-5. pic chart shows only 1 number …new/total - 1,190

.6. Where are you getting the deck(s) from? If they are shared publicly, can you give us the link(s)? It could be that the deck is called “100,” but it doesn’t include everything.

.7. Are you importing multiple separate versions of the same deck?

.8. If you aren’t getting an error, does that mean the post-Import report screen says it imported everything successfully? Or does it say something else about how many notes it imported and why?

.9. Where are you looking to see that the everything wasn’t imported?

-Yes, it public links.
these are the deck link I’ve tried..

-No, I’ve tried different one and having same out. only 1 or 2 card will import.

-I just tried again and this is the message when I hover over a "skipped card that didn’t load,

“note not updated as note type has been modified since you first imported the note, and ‘merge note type’ was not enabled” and

" Notes that could not be imported as note type has changed"

-A box comes up just after hitting import and says how many were imported, and how many weren’t imported.

That’s explaining what happened. You already have these notes, so Anki isn’t importing another copy of them – and it isn’t updating your existing note for the reason it explains.

When you’re using some of these medical decks that have been compiled over many years by many users, there’s often a lot of overlap.
