Anki Downloading [Importing] Issues

Hey everyone!

I’m having trouble with multiple MCAT Anki decks, such Miles Down’s, Jack Sparrow’s, AnKing, and others. When I downloaded them, I only got around 600–700 cards instead of the full 3000+ cards they’re supposed to have. Not sure if I’m messing up the download or import process. Has anyone else had this happen or know how to troubleshoot it? Would really appreciate any help or tips or if anyone would be willing to help troubleshoot it with me! Thanks!

• Are you paying attention to the difference between notes and cards? You might be getting 700 notes than create 3000 cards.
• Are there significant overlaps between the decks? The post-import report will tell you if there are reasons why a certain number of notes weren’t imported.

Thanks, Danika. That actually helps a lot. I didn’t realize how many cards could come from a single note, so that explains the numbers I was seeing. I also noticed some overlap between decks like Aiden MCAT and Jack Sparrow, so I’ll take a closer look at the import summary and the note types to figure out what’s going on.
