All cards come up as duplicated with new update

Hi there,
After closing and reloading anki to update to the latest version, every new card that I add to any deck comes up with the red box to say it’s a duplicate card, despite it not being a duplicate. When browsing the cards, anki has not duplicated the cards, but the big red box saying that it is a duplicate card is frustrating.
Any help/ advice greatly appreciated!
