Addon Discoverability

Currently the only way to browse addon is to go to website and do some sorting by rating/modified then enumerate through them.

Would it be possible to add the below features to make them more discoverable by adding following categories →

  1. Popular Addon ( day, week, monthly ) by downloads
  2. Recently Updated Addon
  3. Newly added addon
  4. Trending Addon

And for each of them their respective rss feeds. This is optional as rss feed can be generated through rss-bridge (github) using css-selectors. But having this would be awesome.

The number of downloads seems to have been discontinued because of cheating in the past. (intentionally increasing lots of downloads).

I think it would be good if the number of active users could be obtained. The leaderboard gets the number of active users who have logged in within the past month, this idea was inspired by AnkiDroid.
