I often accidentally create notes with the wrong type. ie ‘Basic (and reversed card)’ instead of ‘Basic’ and I want to be able to change the type with two button presses.

if there is another way I can use the interface to accomplish this please enlighten me. All I see now is to use the browse feature and then select and apply action “change note type” that way, but that takes quite a few clicks.
right now I see the 'Undo Change Note Type" in the tools tab so the feature might be easy to implement???
I don’t use AnkiMobile but I just wanted to add that this is a very common operation for me too. I use AnkiDroid so it takes only a swipe and a few taps to do this (through edit note, I swipe down to open it, change note type through dropdown and click OK and I’m back to study screen). Going to browse just do this certainly sounds like a pain.
I expect it’s linked to Browse in AnkiMobile – just like it is in Anki – because it can be done on multiple notes at the same time, and involves going through the field and card “mapping” screen.
AnkiDroid might be able to offer a different sequence, but you can only use it one note at a time, and without the mapping screen, it’s easier to lose some of your data.
