I bought anki app for ios with my old iphone and I no longer use of my old iphone. So I found the email which I bought the app with and I find out my account has been deleted. I literally just created a new one, I am sure I used/bought anki ios with this email because I can see old anki emails I got in 2021/2022. I thought the subscription was permanent but it seems like it isn’t unfortunately.
The correct Apple ID (now Apple Account) is all you need to download Anki again on any device using this Apple ID. There is no other way of purchasing Anki. There is no subscription.
You need a separate account to sync your devices with the online service AnkiWeb. This is optional.
