After updating to 2.1.28/29 beta1, I noticed that my laptop battery been draining more than usual when using anki to study?
Not sure if it’s a anki software issue or problem with my laptop?

You can use the Energy tab of the Activity Monitor app to monitor approximate energy usage. I’d suggest using both old and new versions for a set amount of time (say 15 minutes) doing the same thing, and comparing the two.

You can also try to compare with the 2.1.28 alternate version.
