I recently upgraded to the new updated version of Anki Desktop. I want to import three decks like I have been doing with the old update. However, whenever I try to add them it says “Unable to read file. It probably requires a newer version of Anki to import.”
That’s surprising - does the about screen show you’re on 23.12? If so, would you be able to share one of the problem files with me privately, using e.g a Google Drive or OneDrive private link? You can post a private message on anki.tenderapp.com.
It’s worth ruling out add-ons too. The Special Fields add-on is known to cause this.
