I am trying to install the Windows 11 version of Anki on my Windows 11 PC, but it says the processor is not compatible (This installation package is not supported by this processor type. Please contact the vendor). I am not sure what the issue could be. I have an older Windows 10 Laptop somewhere I could try to install it, but the ESU is about to expire. Why does the Windows 11 version not work on a regular Windows 11 PC?
You’re probably installing the ARM version. Try the one labeled “Windows 10+ (x64)”.
