This is seriously annoying. Copying from webpages and the like often takes the websites formatting, like html colors, bold etc. How is it possible there is no option to disable this and always enforce plain text pasting? Once formatting is in a card, its basically impossible to remove.
Have you tried Ctrl-Shift-V hotkey?
For me (Ubuntu) it does the “plain text paste”

You can also use the Eraser button on the top part of the Editor

You can also just copy paste in notepad and then paste it again to where ever you want just the plain text
