Why "New Cards Ignore Review Limit" isn't preset specific?

Hi,

I have several deck presets. For some, I want to check the option “New Cards Ignore Review Limit”, but for others I want to leave it unchecked.

But it seems that this option is global: it applies to all presets (I’m using Anki ⁨25.09).

Is it the expected behavior? Would it be possible to make specific to presets?

Yes. That’s why the globe icon is next to it as well.

No, unless the code base will be updated (I don’t know how feasible this is but others will know more). But as a user, there is nothing you can do to make it work on a preset level as opposed to the entire collection.
