All of the Anki clients will be dropping support for v2 in the next release. Instead of v2/v3, you’ll now have a choice of SM2 or FSRS. It is not practical for us to maintain and support more than two schedulers at once, and v2 has some known issues and inconsistencies between the different clients. If you value it more than the latest Anki features, I’m afraid you’ll need to keep using an older Anki version.
