While forming a basic reversed card, as per the anki manual 2 cards should be formed. However in my case only one card is formed. What should be done, pls help

Having a second one means that they are different. You may have edited the template. You can share the front and back template for the two card typed to check why is only creating one card.

Then that is the issue. Create a new card type and then flip the card template.
