When FSRS4Anki Helper enabled, anki.exe remains open after closing anki

I have noticed lately that if I close and reopen Anki I have to end the anki.exe process from Task Manager after closing. I disabled add-ons one by one until I found this happens with all addons disabled except for FSRS4Anki Helper (and it doesn’t happen if that add-on is disabled). My Debug Info is below. Let me know if anything else is needed to troubleshoot. I checked these forums and I couldn’t find that anyone else is having this issue.

Do you enable auto apply easy days on closing collection?

I have a hook here.

I don’t know whether this background task is finished correctly when you close Anki.

@dae, are there any methods to block the closing process correctly?

Not that I recall. Would that task keep running for minutes or more?

I do not actually. Also I don’t have any Easy Days configured.

Could you reproduce this bug repeatedly?

Yes, it is very consistent. All I have to do is open Anki and then close it. I am not sure what Anki build or FSRS add-on version it started with. If I get time, I can do some testing later to figure that out.

I share the same experience. Anki remains open as a task running in the Task Manager. I have to press End Task to force close it though I am not sure it is only because of this add-on (though I have it as well).
