When copy and pasting Bullet points from Microsoft powerpoint, the bullets show up as corrupted image

When copy and pasting Bullet points from Microsoft powerpoint, the bullets show up as corrupted image. I uploaded a screenshot of what it looks like when I paste into ankle.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Bullet points in Office apps are sometimes printable characters, but they can also be images. If you open the HTML view of this field (click < > above the field) – do those show up as an image with * as alt text? Then, if you’re missing the image, a broken-image icon is what you’d expect to see.

Whatever the symbol is – the text won’t be given actual HTML formatting, so you might be better off trying to paste with formatting stripped off [CTRL Shift V] and then applying HTML bullets from the editing toolbar.
