I’m finding the upstream screens somewhat slow to load compared to native android screens. Though I’ve been told in discord that it might be normal for them to be slower.
A more serious issue is, white flashing screen when I open almost any upstream screens in dark mode. (I saw this reported by another user in github). This happens almost 90% of the time.
If the white flashes don’t happen on desktop, please report them to the AnkiDroid devs.
While we load a separate HTML page for each feature, things are going to be a bit slower than native code. Later on once we can start reducing the number of separate webviews, loading performance should improve.
