Uninstalled Anki 2.1.26 and installed 2.1.23. Can't open my profile

Hi! When 2.1.26 came out for the Mac, I immediately updated my version of Anki. After doing so, I tried to download a few add-ons. It turns out, however, that these add-ons only support Anki 2.1.23 for the Mac. I uninstalled Anki and installed the 2.1.23 version instead. Now, I can’t open my profile and access my decks. Instead, I’m shown this error message.

I’ve tried restarting my computer and manually opening back-up files my laptop had. Is there another workaround available? If it’s of any help, I’m using a Macbook Air running on macOS Catalina (Version 10.15.4).

install 2.1.26 again.
go to File -> Switch profile and on change profile screen, press downgrade and quit.
