In September, when I downloaded this app, I paid 3,500 yen.
However, in October, I was charged an additional 1,680 yen.
What is this charge for? This is not a monthly subscription, so it must be illegal, right?

Hello,
In which app were you charged? If you paid in AnkiApp or Anki Pro, these are Anki knockoffs. AnkiMobile is the only paid software by Anki and there isn’t subscription (it is needed to pay to download the app and after this is free). So, I think that you should contact AnkiApp / Anki Pro.

AnkiMobile Flashcards – the 1st charge – is the correct app, and 3500 yen is the correct amount. But purchasing this app (thank you, by the way!) is a one-time charge, and the 2nd charge has nothing to do with AnkiMobile.
You’ll have to contact Apple to find out what that 2nd charge is about. AnkiMobile has no power over Apple purchases.

Youtube Premium or Apple Music not related? They are ¥1,680 and Youtube Premium is free for the first month and will be charged after one month.
Whomever said that was wrong. Apple are the only one with access to your payment details, and they run the app store. As is shown on AnkiMobile’s app store page, there are no in-app purchases. I’m afraid you’ll need to contact Apple support again, and insist they give you a proper answer as to why they tried to charge you that fee.

I contacted Apple.
I was informed that the Apple operator was wrong.
When I first contacted them, they said that Apple’s support is Anki’s billing,
I was told that it was a mistake.
