I downloaded anki yesterday, then installed a new version today. Now, when I try to open up Anki, I see “this program requires a new version of Anki to open. Did you forget to use the downgrade and switch button prior to switching anki versions?”. When I press “ok” (which is the only option) it takes me to profiles, then when I press downgrade and switch, it says the following profile could not be dowgraded. Therefore, I am unable to open Anki at all. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks
It sounds like you have multiple versions on your computer, and have accidentally opened the older one - please double check which one you’re opening.
