Unable to download anki in my windows 11

As soon i installed ‘Anki launcher-25.09-windows.exe’ , upon installing, It shows me this message every time! It was my 5th day trying to install the app again after updating, trying every suggestion on forum. I’ve had the Ankidroid app installed in this windows 11 device before as well. PLEASE HELP ME OUT. I AM UNABLE TO BE FULLY EFFICIENT WITH THE ANKI WEB.

Anki Launcher

1) Latest Anki (press Enter)
2) Choose a version

5) Allow betas: off
6) Cache downloads: on
7) Download mirror: off

8) Uninstall

Here’s the reply that helped me:

  • 1) Latest Anki (press Enter): This option will launch the most current version of the Anki application that is installed or available to install via the launcher. This is what you want to select.

  • 2) Choose a version: Allows you to select a specific, potentially older, version of Anki to run or install.

  • 5) Allow betas: off: Controls whether beta versions of the software are offered.

  • 6) Cache downloads: on: Saves the installation files locally after download.

  • 7) Download mirror: off: Used for selecting alternate download sources if the main one fails.

  • 8) Uninstall: Uninstalls the Anki software.

Action Required:

In the second anki-console.exe window,

  1. take the cursor to 2) ,
  2. simply type 1 and press Enter to start Anki.

I don’t know where that “reply” came from, but –

  1. This isn’t AnkiDroid. That’s the Android app. For Windows, you are installing the main desktop version of Anki.

  2. Press Enter – that’s all you need to do when you get this launcher prompt.

I’ve also had this issue and just posted a topic thing for it. Everything I try and do for some reason itbwon’t work. Do you have any suggestions on this at all?
