I cannot install the program. The icon appears on my desktop but the programs always stop with this screen:
Press Enter to have the Launcher install the “Latest Anki” version.
That looks like what you’d see when you’re installing the Launcher – by double-clicking on the file you downloaded. But you’ve already done that if you’ve gotten the Launcher menu screen you posted first. Can you give more details about where you are in the process?
I downloaded the launcher a few times (I did not see a difference of the file). The last download was a few minutes ago and the result was different than before. Before I got always the black screen as I posted in the beginning.
I’ve done nothing else than starting the launcher.
any more ideas what I could do?
Just press Enter when you get to that screen. You shouldn’t need to download the installer multiple times and run it while that screen is shown. Unless if you mean you’re getting that initial Anki Setup screen again when you press Enter?
