Type-in card type ignores HTML tags

Is there a way to make my type-in type card not ignore tags and inline styles?
When I highlight something in a note by using bold, italic or text color it’s not visible when I typed the answer in and the app shows me my mistakes.

For example, I highlight in a sentence “in” using bold, to be able to pay attention in the sentence “fill IN a form”, I type my answer and the correct answer line has no bold word in it, the same is about other tags and text colors.
With colors I can understand, it will look awful having red letters with red highlight when I typed it wrong in, but what about bold, underline and italic?

Wouldn’t you have to match the HTML tags for bold, italic etc.? Instead of typing Jakarta, if it was bold, you’ll type <b>Jakarta</b>.

I’m sorry I didn’t get your answer. I press ctrl+B or a B button, so it automatically adds <b></b> tags. For me it looks like adding {{type:}} makes apps ignore ALL styles user adds (it looks the same both on AnkiDroid and Anki on Windows)

A type-answer field strips out all formatting by necessity, so I don’t think what you’re asking for is possible. But it’s not about whether it will look awful. Formatting can be applied in many different ways in HTML – you give the example of bold, which could come from <strong>, <b>, or CSS font-weight. The type-answer feature is doing a character-by-character comparison, so formatting wouldn’t necessarily match.

Memorizing which word is formatted which way also seems like you’re memorizing the card instead of the information. From your post I’m not understanding why you would need to do that.
