Turn off predictive text only for AnkiDroid?

Hi,

I’ve recently started using the type-in function to learn Russian. Unfortunately, gBoard is quite a bit better at spelling than me - which almost always leads to situations where it suggests the correct answer as I am typing:

It’s even worse for full sentences - I guess because there is even more context.

 

Is there any hack to turn off predictive text and text correction for only this app? The regular gBoard settings only allow to disable it globally.

I would install another keyboard from the PlayStore, that you’ll use only for this purpose. Then you can just to switch to that instead of going into settings and such.
