How do I remove that new keyboard setting that was just enabled
Hi,
Currently, you can’t. People have been asking for the feature for 10 years and I wasn’t expecting a backlash.
For now, you can install 2.13.5 alongside 2.14, which won’t have the toolbar: https://github.com/ankidroid/Anki-Android/releases/download/v2.13.5/AnkiDroid-2.13.5.parallel.A.apk
I’ve added an issue on our GitHub: https://github.com/ankidroid/Anki-Android/issues/7785. Feel free to give the issue a +1, or volunteer your time coding it up to speed things along.
All the best,
David
@HarrySachs This will be fixed in 2.14.2, likely out on the Play Store tomorrow.
Wow. Thank you for telling me that. I didn’t intend to give anyone a hard time. My keyboard to screen ratio is already bad and it makes my language learning difficult.
Anyway, I do enjoy the app so thank you for that
