Troubleshooting

Hi everyone, I’ve been having problems with my Anki and I have tried troubleshooting but it isn’t working, I would love for any help with the issue below:

The 25.02.x security patches created some issues with add-ons. Update to the most recent release, 25.02.7 – that might fix it.

You don’t say what you’re doing when you get this error. If it’s still happening after updating, tell us more about that – including what the error message is.

Hi, thank you for your message. I tried updating to the most recent release, and the error is still appearing. It appears randomly when I am going through my flash cards or when I have anki on in the background. It shows this:

Try the latest beta from here.

If you continue to get this error, try narrowing down to the add-on that’s causing the issue, and report to the author.

There’s no need to upgrade to the version in beta testing – unless you want to be involved in beta testing the next version.

Your next step should be the Troubleshooting Checklist – Troubleshooting - Anki Manual . Do all of the steps, even the ones that you don’t think are related.

From the error message, this looks like a (harmless) bug in the image occlusion add-on you’re using.
