Hello,
I’ve been having trouble importing shared decks. Anki has notified me that I have the older version; however, I have deleted the older version via the control panel, restarted my computer and downloaded the new q6 version for windows multiple times. I don’t know why after downloading the new version that the problem still persists. I have followed all the install instructions, what should I do?
Thank you.
I saw this post, too! I uninstalled the app, and made sure to delete any add-ons, not sure about special fields. However, I encountered the same issue as it won’t let me upgrade to the newer version.
I’m using Windows, and I don’t know if that is why I’m having upgrade issues. I feel as though the app won’t let me download the newest version.

There’s a checkmark next to legacy import/export handling.
I still don’t understand what you mean by that.
That was one of the solutions in the thread I linked you to. Uncheck that.
I’m unsure if the app version was relevant to the problem I’m having. Thank you for helping me fix this issue! Once I unchecked and restarted the app, I could download decks I couldn’t previously. Thank you!
