Syncing succeeded but... email confirmation?

Hello–I have been using Anki for a while [current version: ⁨2.1.47 (dc156f34)⁩]. I have recently started to receive this message after syncing on my laptop: “Syncing succeeded. We have sent you an email to confirm your email address - please check your email in a couple of minutes.” However, I do not ever get the email. I think Anki should have the correct email address for me, but how can I check to be sure?

I think you can check your email address in the account settings on AnkiWeb.

It’s probably obvious but check your spam folder as well. Anki checks your email occasionally (I think once a year) partly to make sure it is still active. When you send a lot of emails to non-active email accounts, that’s a good sign for email providers like Gmail that it’s spam.

Casartelli, thanks to you I was able to locate my email address which turned out to be correct. Chartokai, yes obvious but I did not think of it (lol). That was the problem–I replied to the emails and no longer get the error message. Thanks to you both.
