There are also no decks there, and I previously used it so there should be some kind of backup. There are no backups on my MacBook as it has been reset. Is there anything else that I can do to regain access to my decks?

That typically deletes all of the server backups. One of yours stuck around, but it’s very old – from September 2023. I don’t know if that’s around when you stopped syncing, but that’s the only version of your collection I could restore for you. Please confirm if you want me to do that.

It’s unfortunate you reset you Mac without saving the data, but is it possible that your important Anki2 data folder was preserved in a cloud backup? Or did you ever sync any other devices to your account?

That would be wonderful. Can you restore that for me please?

Okay. I’ve restored that. Make sure you download from AnkiWeb when you sync.
