Switching from Qt6 to Qt5

I am running version Qt6 24.06.03 for Windows and I would like to switch to the Qt5 24.06.03 version. I have been using the notes listed on this page but had a question: Install & Upgrade - Anki Manual

Before I uninstall and reinstall with the new version, do I need to go into the switch profile menu and select downgrade and quit? I saw that step listed regarding downgrades:

File>Switch Profile menu item, and click on “Downgrade & Quit”

Thanks for any advice! Just trying to not to mess anything up accidentally!

It might not be entirely necessary, but it’s a good habit to stay in, and it won’t hurt anything to do it.
