Suspend button working as Bury

Until some days ago, I had Suspend as showing in the menu, and Bury as Always show; then I switched them: Suspend in Always show, Bury in the menu.

The button for Suspend took the place of that for Bury, which went to the menu, as expected; but then when I suspended cards via the button they came back the following day, as if they were buried, and this never happened when I had Suspend in the menu.

Are you sure this isn’t a sync issue? If you use multiple devices, do you always sync when opening and closing the apps?

Other than that, try to narrow down the issue:

  1. Create a test deck.
  2. Add a few basic cards to it.
  3. Pretend to be studying it and do what you usually do. Keep track of which cards you buried/suspended.
  4. The next day, see if the bug happens.

Same device, so it’s not a synch issue; I only use Anki Desktop to add cards, but I didn’t add any the day before, so synch wasn’t involved.

I can try making a test deck, thanks for the suggestion.

Also try enabling the new study screen. [You said you haven’t enabled it in Issues · ankidroid/Anki-Android · GitHub]
