@dae, I understand your position with due column having current position of new cards. It allows you to see both info in one column and helps with sorting.
From the perspective of a shared deck creator, I think it would also make sense to show current position of cards in position column.
Would it be possible to have that?
I presume your question relates to the changes Add card position column and always show position in card info by taylorobyen · Pull Request #3471 · ankitects/anki · GitHub, but I’m afraid I’m not sure what you mean. New cards should show the same number in the due and position columns already. Could you clarify?
Okay, it’s different in AnkiDroid and I thought it might have to do with upstream code. Position column shows position only when it’s not a new card.
