Setting an specific due date as a limit

Is there a way that I can stablish an specific date as a limit for my studies, with which Anki will automatically calculate the intervals acorrdingly to “easy, good, hard”, and based on this date?
Example: I have an exam 12/01/24. I’d like to study every card as much as I can until this date. However, now I have cards that if I select “easy”, they will be reviewed only in 1month>, which would be after my exam. I could select “hard” on some so that they could appear earlier, but I can see how this is probably not a good option, long term, mainly. Can I program this somehow?

There is no native way to set a due date within Anki, to the best of my knowledge.

There are add-ons that can be used to help retain some degree of mindfulness around exam dates: https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/236593452

Alternately, you can mark cards that you want to review before a particular exam and use custom-filtered decks for targeted review beforehand.

Your instinct is right there! There’s no need to schedule easier cards to be seen sooner, because they’ll just get in the way of the harder cards that need more of your attention. Letting Anki schedule them normally, and then using Filtered decks when your exam gets closer (e.g. cards you haven’t studied in X days that are due after your exam and have a certain difficulty or a certain number of lapses) is the best way to make sure you have confidence about those cards.
