Scroll bar on the right is offset and unclickable at rightmost cursor position

As title says, a minor inconvenience where the scroll bar is not clickable if you drag your cursor to the right edge of the screen. This happened after I updated from 27.02.05 to 27.05.05. I tried resetting window size and putting it on full screen but no difference.

So you tried without add-ons?

I’m not able to reproduce this on a Windows 11 computer with a mouse. I maximize the window, shove the cursor all the way to the right, and can still drag to move the scrollbar.

Yes, I loaded in safe mode and the problem persisted. Changed to different drivers, turning PC off and on, but no luck. Weird. Should I try downgrading to a previous version?

Try putting the link between `backticks`.

Sure. You can try 25.02.7 (the last patch of the Feb 2025 release) to see if it makes a difference.

  • This might be a separate issue, but when I try to downgrade with the new launcher this came up:

It didn’t respond to any number I typed in. Should I just run the installer again instead? I didn’t want to “bloat” my C drive with the old installer because it’s running low on space.

I’m not sure that’s making things clearer. In the video it looks like you are scrolling without the scrollbar first (mousewheel, perhaps?), and then you grab the scrollbar and scroll with that, and then you wiggle the mouse around, and then you scroll with the scrollbar again. Perhaps you need to tell us what you’re showing us?

Sorry, I guess you can’t really know when I’m clicking. So when the mouse is on the right edge, I clicked and dragged up and down but as you can see, it doesn’t work. That’s it, the “wiggle” you see is me trying to click and drag on the edge. Sorry for the confusion.

If you want, you can use Power Toys to show mouse clicks.

I don’t know what that is but I’ll look into it, looks helpful after a quick skim.
