I have a shared deck with 600MB of mp3s that are accessed using javascript and are not attatched to the notes. To get Anki to recognize these mp3s, since they are note directly referenced on the notes, I made one huge note that references every single media file necessary for the deck and just left it suspended.
Now I’m trying to share this deck. I decided to do it as 4 decks. One containing every card, and three more each containing a third of that huge media note. So the three media decks have 200MB of mp3 files each.
All 4 decks were uploaded successfully. However, the “Sample (from # notes)” part of the shared decks page is having trouble displaying the one giant note that each of the 3 media decks has. Since each shared deck seems to have 3 sample notes. I figure I can make three placeholder notes for each of these decks to be displayed as the “samples” so the webpage doesn’t have to display the giant note.
My question is, though, how are the sample notes selected? Is it random, alphabetical, due order? How can I make sure my placeholder cards are selected as the “samples” and not the giant note?
